My experience of them, usually kept until they emerge, or at least changing the DuoDERM initially at least once a week. I personally do not DuoDERM allow the air to heal the wound. If you are, I suggest some 4x4 gauze over it. washed every day, maybe once a day, a small amount of bacitracin, the wound on the recovery speed.
